Important Notice: Changes to SEB Nordic Future Opportunity Fund and SEB Global Climate Opportunity Fund
The management company SEB Funds AB, part of the SEB Group, has made a decision to implement certain changes as of November 4, 2026. These changes affect the following sub-funds:
- SEB Fund 1 – SEB Nordic Future Opportunity Fund
- SEB Fund 1 – SEB Global Climate Opportunity Fund
Changes to SEB Nordic Future Opportunity Fund:
- The sub-fund’s benchmark index will be removed, as it no longer provides a meaningful comparison for the sub-fund’s investment approach and sustainability criteria. The sub-fund is actively managed and no significant portfolio reallocation is expected as a result of the changes, and no material impact on investors in anticipated.
- The sub-fund’s performance fee will be removed, simplifying the fee structure and making the cost of investing in the sub-fund easier to understand.
- The description of the sub-fund’s investment process will be updated to provide greater clarity on its sustainability approach.
Changes to SEB Global Climate Opportunity Fund:
- The sub-fund’s investment policy will be amended to allow up to 15% of its net assets to be invested in Chinese A-shares via the Stock Connect programme. This will give the portfolio management team access to a broader range of companies that may contribute to the climate transition and environmental solutions.
Effective date: 4 November 2026.
Impact: No action is required from investors. No material impact is expected on your investments. The updates are not expected to affect the investment objective, strategy or risk profile of the sub-funds.
Redemption: You may redeem your units free of charge until the applicable cut-off time on 3 November 2026. Please note that redemptions may have tax implications, and we recommend consulting your financial adviser if you have any questions.
