Benchmark Index and Investment Restrictions Changes for SEB SICAV 1 – SEB Emerging Markets Fund
From 1 September 2026, SEB Funds AB will change the benchmark index and investment restrictions for the SEB SICAV 1 – SEB Emerging Markets Fund. This change aims to better reflect the sub-fund’s investment universe while improving diversification and maintaining access to investment opportunities.
Changes: The benchmark index will change from MSCI Emerging Markets Net Return Index to MSCI EM 10/40 Index. The maximum allocation to locally traded China equities will be increased from 10% to up to 15%.
Effective date: 1 September 2026.
Impact: No action is required from investors. No material impact is expected on investment. This update will not affect the investment objective, strategy, fees, or risk profile of the sub-fund.
Portfolio: Some portfolio adjustments will be made to reflect the composition of the new index. These adjustments involve highly liquid securities, and transaction costs are not expected to have a material impact on investors.
Redemption: You may redeem your units free of charge until the cut-off time on 28 August 2026. Please note that redemptions may have tax implications, and we recommend consulting your financial adviser if you have any questions.
