How to unblock internet bank

The internet bank will be blocked if you enter a wrong password five times consecutively when connecting to the internet bank with a code card.

If you have entered a wrong user code or a code from the code card or digipass five times consecutively, you should call 24/7 infoline of SEB bank +371 26668777.

If you use the internet bank only as an individual, you can unlock it within 12 hours in the following ways:

1) Click on the link  "Forgot your password" in the message field

Enter the user code and the required code from the code card. The one-off activation code will be sent as a text message to the phone number specified in your banking contact details. Only the customers of Latvian phone operators can receive text messages. The code will be valid for one hour. If you do not use the code in the time slot, you will need to request a new code.

After receiving the activation code, enter it into the required field, and thereafter enter the new password. Read about the passwords requirements in section “Password”. If you do not remember the password, you can use the option to create a new password right away in section“Forgot your password?”.

2) Call the 24/7 infoline of SEB bank +371 26668777

The option to connect to the internet bank will be renewed to you via the phone for you to try to remember your previous password five more times. If you fail to do so, you will be able to renew your access to the internet bank only at the branch of SEB bank, i.e., you will no longer be able to do it remotely.

Upon entering codes from the code card, you can use uppercase as well as lowercase letters. For example, Y33nhR and y33nhr would mean the same codes.

Digipass – without a password

In order to connect to the internet bank with a code card (digipass), entering of your password would not be required. Digipass ensures the authorisation of two aspects – the PIN thereof is known only to the customer, and the code form the digipass is generated anew each time and is valid for a limited term.

If you do not remember the PIN of the digipass, please visit the nearest branch of SEB bank to replace the existing digipass with a new one.

Smart-ID as a convenient and secure authorization solution for the internet bank will gradually replace the code cards.
