Clarification in SEB bank's pricelist: cash transactions in ATMs and cross-border payments

As of February 20, 2018 several clarifications in SEB bank's pricelist will come into effect concerning cash withdrawal and deposit transactions in ATMs. Also, on January 13 a few changes concerning cross-border payments will enter into force.

Clarifications in bank's pricelist concern the conditions for applying commissions after the free-of-charge cash deposit or withdrawal limits have been exceeded.

At this point, the pricelist provides that the commission fee is applied when the monthly withdrawal/deposit limit has been reached or exceeded. As of February 20, the commission fee will be applied when the monthly withdrawal/deposit limit is exceeded. This clarification has been made to simplify the pricelist and make it more understandable for clients.

As before, private individuals will be able to use their payment cards and credit cards in ATMs to deposit cash up to 6 000 EUR in their accounts within a month with no additional fees. Commission fees will remain the same: after cash deposit limit is exceeded, a commission fee of 0.1% will be applied. As before, private individuals will also be able to use their payment cards in ATMs to withdraw cash up to 600 EUR from their accounts within a month with no additional fees. After cash withdrawal limit is exceeded, a commission fee of 0.2% will be applied, just like before.

Companies will continue to use their credit cards and payment cards in ATMs to deposit cash up to EUR 6 000 in their accounts within a month with no additional fees. Once this limit is exceeded, a commission fee of 0.1% will be applied, as before.

As of January 13, the new version of SEB bank’s Terms and Conditions for Settlement will come into effect. From that moment, SEB bank will accept for processing cross-border payment orders in any currency (including, for example, USD and RUB) to European Economic Area countries, Switzerland, Monaco, San Marino and Andorra, only with "SHA" option for collecting transaction fees (client covers SEB's commission, and the recipient of the payment covers commissions of correspondent banks and beneficiary's bank). These changes are necessary for introduction of the European Union Payment Services Directive PSD2 requirements.
