Corporate governance – How the quality of business governance impacts productivity?

Andris Grafs, Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance

Why corporate governance is becoming an increasingly important topic for Baltic companies? If the company has ambitious plans, clear and balanced corporate governance model should be implemented. Similarly, a "pressure" from investors and banks is increasing to put company’s corporate governance in order. What are the aspects of corporate governance that need our attention today? Does corporate governance affect funding conditions? How does the quality of corporate governance affect productivity?

Business agility – Is this an effective way of growth?

Jānis Paksis, Accenture Latvija

The 21st century could be characterized by extremely rapid change of things and processes, so it is highly important for companies to be flexible and adapt to market changes. The importance of an Agile business culture is to keep up with the times, allowing you to stay ahead of the competition. Based on Accenture's experience, Janis will share the benefits of Agile culture and ways to implement it in the organization.

5G – What opportunities it can create for Latvian companies?

Ingmārs Pūķis, LMT

The 5G network development will introduce adjustments to the environment, business and overall processes we have seen so far. In his story, Ingmar will highlight the role of the Baltic Sea region in this transformation process, will present the technological essence of 5G and examples of its use.

Robotization – Is your business ready to implement it tomorrow?

Didzis Dejus, Squad Robotics

In order to increase productivity and reduce the cost price of products, the automation of business processes will increase. There will be various service robots on the market for which it will be less clear to determine the return on investment. Didzis will outline the future challenges that companies will face. He will highlight changes that affect the future routine of companies and will give the examples of future partnership profile.
