Rent

The leasing company purchases the car from the seller and rents it to the client for a specified time. Each month the client pays only for the depreciation of the car and the interest of the leasing company's purchase. At the end of the rental period, the client returns the car to the leasing company, or, if he so wishes, purchases the car and obtains its title. Why is this advantageous? Let us consider just a few of the reasons:
- In case of the operative lease (rental) the client has lower monthly payments than in the case of financial leasing (installment plan purchase)
- The opportunity to evaluate the selected car over a longer period of time in order to decide if it is worth purchasing it at the end of the lease period.
- Avoiding the risk connected with the visual and technical deterioration of the car and with its future sale. At the end of the lease term the car does not belong to the client, and the price for which it will be sold has already been determined when the contract was signed.
Legal entities do not have to carry the rented car on their books, thus easing the accounting procedures.
Consultations about concluding a leasing contract and leasing conditions are available at any SEB banka Client Service Center or in the SEB līzings office Krasta Street 105a, Riga.
