Pledging Securities as Collateral

You are entitled to pledge the securities registered in the securities account as a collateral - henceforth, Pledge - by concluding a Pledge Contract with the broker receiving the Pledge. When pledging securities, the Client submits to SEB banka the original of the Pledge Contract and the pledging instructions signed both by the Client and the Broker.

All possible income of the pledged securities and other connected rights are part of the Pledge.

Any transaction with the Pledge or the redemption of the Pledge is carried out by SEB banka on the basis of a confirmed request signed both by the Client and the Broker and duly notarized or confirmed by a SEB banka official, or on the basis of documents issued by a court of law binding to SEB banka.
