Delisting of Securities
The Initial Register of shareholders is a list of persons, who, as a result of the privatization, have obtained the rights to certain shares. For the shareholder to be able to act freely with his securities: sell, pledge as a collateral, give away, and receive dividends, he has to carry out the deregistration of the securities.
Deregistration involves the transfer of the securities, by order of their owner, from the Initial Register to the shareholders account in a bank or a brokerage. The securities owner has the option of deregistering his shares to the securities account of another person.
