As the base asset is the company share index, it has had its value decreased along with that of the share markets. The index value decreased rapidly regardless of the positive forecasts for the alternative energy field, largely due to panic in the stock markets and the world economy.

The nature of the Progressive Deposit is the 100 % principal amount guarantee at the end of the term, even if the market has been operating with no profit during the respective period.

Initially, the Progressive Deposit Alternative Energy was rising and, in comparison to the indices of the developed states, it was showing good growth rates (+30 % during five months from the start of the deposit). The growth was due to the promising future development of alternative energy.

Since the start of the Progressive Deposit, the index value has decreased by approximately 53 %. Thus, even the initial growth of the deposit cannot compensate the large drop of the recent period.
