How to verify the security of the established connection?

In order to check if you have connected to Ibanka officially registered site on the Internet and data communication is completely secured against unauthorized intrusions by third parties, before starting to use Ibanka you must verify the certificate by clicking on a padlock icon  that is placed on the right side at the bottom of the page or at the internet browser address field.

The certificate must contain a correct Ibanka address: ibanka.seb.lv, address of the issuer of the certificate: www.verisign.com and a date of validity.

Open also folder "Certification path" and verify that there are only three levels in the chain of certification participants and there are no uncertified intermediate participants.
