Safe cash withdrawals at ATMs

1. Do not use ATMs during the dark time of the day at poorly illuminated places and overcrowded places;

2. Try to withdraw cash in good time to evade hurry and inappropriate conditions;

3. Before using an ATM, make sure that nobody is watching you and cannot see your PIN code or the amount entered by you;

4. Entering the PIN code, put your other hand over the keys, if possible;

5. Before leaving the ATM, always check that you have the card and the cash with you:

6. When you have received the cash, immediately put the card, receipt, and cash in a safe place;

7. Never stand by the ATM and count the cash received when anyone else can see it;

8. If by the ATM you are offered assistance you have not required , refuse it;

9. Try not to get confused when using an ATM of another bank where the interface will be different. Remember that the ATM might firstly return the card and only then dispense the cash.

10. Do not use the ATM if there is an odd device or any instructions to perform unusual operations attached to it.
