Pay safely

  1. Always make sure that the seller returns your payment card to you and gives a copy of the POS slip;
  2. If you notice at the cash-desk that the amount on the POS slip and the purchase value do not match, notify the seller immediately; the seller must correct the transaction;
  3. Never let the card out of your view, when you are paying with a card at restaurant, hotels and elsewhere; you are entitled to see what is being done with your card.
  4. Keep your receipts and compare them with your bank account statements;
  5. If you find mismatches or a transaction you cannot remember, do not hesitate to contact your bank. Claims made early can be examined easier and the problem can be solved faster.
  6. Apply for the SMS Bank service in order to receive text messages on transactions performed in your account and be able to inform the bank on any unknown transactions.
  7. Apply for Ibanka and follow your card transactions on the Internet.
