SEPA (Single euro payment area) is the project within the single infrastructure and common terms for payment services in Europe have been implemented. Implementation of Single Euro Payments Area is based on political goal to strengthen the internal market of Europe.
SEPA implementation ensures simple, safe and effective euro payments throughout Europe – both within the country, as well as outside the borders of the country. SEPA includes all 27 EU countries, as well as Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and Monaco.
SEB Group has taken part in establishing of SEPA already right from the beginning and making the benefits offered by SEPA available to its clients as one of the first in the whole Europe.
SEPA payments
With the establishment of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), SEB banka provides fast and effective euro transfers to European countries*.

SEPA Direct Debit
For fast, safe and convenient bill payment in Europe!
SEB banka is the only bank in Latvia that, starting from 1 November 2009, offers a new type of settlement service – SEPA Direct Debit.
The service is available both to the bank's private persons, as well as legal entities and is meant for ensuring regular payment of invoices in Europe in euro currency. In the same way, it can also be a single payment.
