SEB Enskilda was founded by SEB in London in 1982 as Enskilda Securities. Today SEB Enskilda has offices in all Nordic and Baltic countries as well as London, New York, and Frankfurt. SEB Enskilda is the market leader in the provision of specialist advice in Mergers and Acquisitions and Equity Finance, principally in Nordic and Baltic related transactions.

In January 2007 SEB Enskilda started Baltic operations by taking over control of SEB Vilfima, corporate finance arm of SEB Group in the Baltic countries, and by employing Ivars Bergmanis, Henrik Igasta, Priit Koit and Sten Sumberg, all previosly partners at Suprema Securities.

Consequently, in addition to the offices in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, London, Frankfurt and New York, SEB Enskilda now has offices in Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius.
