Large Corporate Banking

The service to Large Corporate Clients was introduced at SEB banka as a separate business feature in 1999. The purpose of this development was to improve the services to clients of particular significance to the bank - major corporations.

At this time, the Service to the Large Corporate Clients attends to nearly 500 customers. Among them are the leading companies of Latvia with annual turnover of more than 5 million LVL.

To facilitate the task of serving the top echelon of the corporate clients of the bank, the section serving Large Corporate Clients added an associate to deal with individuals.

With the rapid growth of the number of the large corporate clients in recent years, the quality assurance section has increased the number of transaction managers. Presently, 8 corporate transaction managers serve the large corporate clients. One of them serves only individuals, 2 are transaction managers, and the others their assistants.

To process the transactions of the large corporate clients, the bank has formed a Corporate Transaction Assurance Section, which reports to the Transaction Assurance and Control Board. At the moment it has 6 employees.

The Service to Large Corporate clients distinguishes itself by an individual approach to each client, and by the quality of assistance it renders according to the needs of the leading enterprises.

The SEB Group, to which SEB banka belongs, does business in all the Baltic States. In order to improve service to international clients in the Baltic region, the Pan-Baltic Project was organized under the auspices of the Service to Large Corporate Clients. As a result, clients of the SEB Group can receive the same services in all of the SEB Baltic banks - the SEB banka of Latvia, SEB Pank of Estonia and SEB Bank of Lithunia.

At the end of 2003, the Service to Large Corporate Clients participated in a cash management development project in Latvia and the other Baltic States, This project is progressing successfully and as a result it is possible to offer clients a growing range of various financial services.

The Service to Large Corporate Clients of SEB banka is working actively in collaboration with the other SEB Group enterprises, to make client service ever more effective so that our clients would have access to the most advantageous modern financial services.
