SEB Shared Service Center Riga

SEB Shared Service Center in Riga, Latvia (legal name Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB Riga Branch) is a company within the SEB Group which provides high quality services for the SEB Group customers and business divisions in 10 sites all over the world. The SEB Group has two shared service centers: in Riga (Latvia) established in 2006 (legal name Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB Rīgas filiāle) and in Vilnius (Lithuania) established in 2008 (legal name Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB, Vilniaus filialas).

SEB Shared Service Center in Riga at the moment provides these services:


  • Trading Operations: processing transaction and client support in relation to trading products (FX, Fixed Income and derivatives);
  • Payments Operations: handing of commercial, incoming and outgoing international payments for SEB Group customers, including investigation, support and invoicing;
  • Securities Operations: transactions settlement and asset servicing of Nordic securities trades for Sub - Custody clients: international banks and global financial institutions;
  • Reconciliations and Static data: reporting and control of problem transactions related to cash and securities activities, registration and maintenance of client records;
  • Risk and Control: reporting, follow up and support within the risk area to internal users, including services to customers in Swedish language.

Today SEB Shared Service Center in Riga has more than 300 employees working in shifts to support all the sites – starting from Nordic countries to Singapore and USA. It is a professional team from junior to senior specialists level, and the growing center is continuously looking for team players willing to focus on service culture. In 2013 alone more than 100 new employees joined the company. General profile requirements – motivated, positive, loyal and open minded personalities, which are responsible, accurate and willing to learn. English language is the general working language and substantial part of the daily work. Center also provides services in Swedish. Implemented lean methodology tools encourage a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
