Euromoney: SEB is the Best Bank in Latvia

Euromoney, the world's leading financial magazine, has recognised SEB as being the best bank in Latvia in its recent assessment of the financial sector, granting SEB the Euromoney Award of Excellence 2011 - Best Bank in Latvia.


SEB Group has also received several other awards:

  • Best Bank in the Nordic & Baltic Region
  • Best M&A House in the Nordic & Baltic Region
  • Best Cash Management House in the Nordic & Baltic Region


CEO of SEB bank in Latvia, Ainārs Ozols: "We perceive any assessment as being the high reference of our activities by the community, our cooperation partners and our clients.   • EMEA Finance recognised SEB Wealth Management as the Best Asset Manager in Latvia;
  • The Latvian Employer Confederation recognised SEB bank as one of the three best employers in the Riga Region.


Annually since 1992 Euromoney has been providing its assessment on financial institutions worldwide, and this shows excellent performance results. At present, Euromoney is granting 25 international awards in the field of finance, including the best banks and securities brokers in a hundred countries worldwide.
